The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, through the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE), in partnership with Plug and Play, has launched the second edition of the Corporate Innovation Program (CVC), aiming to empower leaders of Saudi companies to adopt open innovation methodologies and develop models of collaboration and investment with startups, contributing to the growth of their businesses and enhancing their competitiveness in the digital economy.
The program focuses on building the capabilities of companies to move from awareness of the importance of innovation to implementing it as an organized institutional practice, by providing participants with practical tools and frameworks to explore technologies and ideas within and outside their organizations and transform them into technological solutions and projects that open up new opportunities for growth and strengthen integration between companies and the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
The program includes in-person executive workshops in Riyadh from November 23 to 25, 2026, combining specialized knowledge and practical application. The workshops discuss innovation as a strategic priority for companies, corporate venture capital investment models, adopting startup solutions as a customer, and strategic partnerships. They also include practical exercises and global case studies that help participants formulate innovation directions for their organizations, select models appropriate to their objectives, and identify priority collaboration opportunities.
The program is expected to contribute to enhancing the ability of Saudi companies to adopt modern technologies, develop new technology-based businesses, and expand opportunities for startups to access partnerships and markets, supporting the growth of the technological innovation ecosystem and strengthening its contribution to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
